Our mini vacation..... Burton spent a lovely 4 days and 4 night at Florida Children's Hospital in beautiful downtown Orlando ;) Sun. he got bit by a spider ( we think) his right foot turned all red and got swollen so we took him to the ER to be on the safe side. They admitted him that night to give him IV antibiotics and was doing fine by Tues. night he started throwing up and had diarrhea. So they ran more tests, CT and chest x-rays. It came back that he had picked up a stomach virus while at the hospital which bought us another 2 days there. He was released Thurs. about 4 pm and was doing good yesterday. Today he's throwing up again and won't keep any of his meds down. We'll see how this plays out the next couple of days. If he not getting better back to the hospital we go.

Things here are starting to get into a routine. Burton started PT today at a clinic for 30 min. and it was a joke. I miss his therapist in Maine, they did such a great job with him. He has OT on Mon. at the house so we'll see how that goes. We recently switched him over to fuzzi bunz ( cloth diapers) so far so good. He finally gaining weight, he's up to 25.8 lbs. the Dr.'s are a little worried he's on the thin side.
We're all doing well and nothing new going on.

Burton and I had a busy week. He had 6 Dr. apt. all went well. We went back to see his neurosurgeon after the CT was read. He said " it looked good" and so he lowered the pressure again to 1.5 ( normal:) and we'll go back in Nov. and have a new CT done.
Burton's Bunch Hydro walk was Sun. it went well. Wayne wasn't able to do it because he is still in Cape May, NJ for school. They had class Mon. so he couldn't fly home for the weekend.
We found out Wayne is #12 on the ET Chief list for 2008 and they plan on making 43. So we may have to move again next summer, we'll see.
